FingerPrint Bug on the Pixel and Nexus smartphones
After many issues happen in the past we would think that Google would make an update this time a bug free. Google are completely taking enough time to make sure that new Android updates must be completely bug-free. But, Google didn’t do that this time also. We have seen in the past, Pixel and Nexus users already had troubles with their smart-phones too many times after installing latest Android updates released by Google INC.
Unfortunately, the giant engine “Google “did it again. This time in Android 7.1.2 Nougat update breaks the fingerprint sensor on the Pixel and Nexus smartphones. The fingerprint sensor doesn’t work after upgrading their android.
However, Google must reproduce the bug before trying to find a clarification. Luckily, there are many users who have Pixel and Nexus Android phones have taken this to user community forums and they complain (and proper explain) about that, their fingerprint sensors are not working completely. They wrote that this stopped after upgrading to latest version of Android update 7.1.2 Nougat.
Users tried all possible way to fix it. They tried to delete all their fingerprints stored on the phone before and did a hard reset in their smartphone. But they were shocked that the fingerprint sensors refused to work on the affected Nexus and Pixel handsets.
At the moment, this issue affects both the versions “Pixel and Pixel XL” smartphones, as well as the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P model. The cause of this problem hasn’t been tracked and identified yet, and there’s no any solution to make the fingerprint sensor work again.
